I was wondering how would be myself as a puppet toy so i decided to create one.

Tight is one of the projects made in collaboration with Camillo Vanacore for an exibition in Rome called ”from 2D to 3D”. The exibition has for a target to present projects that using 2D sheets of diferent materials to create 3D objects.

In this we used a single sheet of inox steel and half chromed light bulb.

Frene

Frene

The chair has been designed for inside spaces.

Its peculiarity resides in combination of two elements of internal furniture: a chair and a four-step stairs.

The appearance of the chair is the one of most commonly used peace of furniture. The necessity of Frene reflects in the possibility to reach shelves and bookcases simply by turning over posterior piece of the chair frontwards.

The turnover is provided by two hinges positioned between the first and the second stave of the sitting surface. The new configuration of the chair prevents the sitting plane of getting unclean by stepping on it.

The chair has been painted in black by burning its surface, that also gives a very specific texture to it.

Light or Toy

Light of Toy is conceived as an educative toy that, other than illumination, has the purpose of showing how the light energy is been produced.

In this way, Light or Toy educates a child not to waste energy as it derives from a certain labor.

The mechanism of the lamp is extremely simple, composed of manual charge system, dynamo and a high brightness LED.

By charging an apposite key placed on the outside of the lamp, mechanical force is gradually released and transmitted through a series of gears to the dynamo system that, on the other hand, produces the energy necessary to nurture the LED.

LIGHT FLOWER

is an outdoor light used to illuminate gardens and garden paths.

Using of a very sensitive propeller that rotates even on a weakest air circulation, the battery of light flower is being charged.

Thanks to a light sensor light switches off automatically during the day and switches on in the same way during the night.

In this way we have a very intelligent light that, ones installed, is being charged autonomously using the wind power and switched on and of automatically depending on the time of the day.

Subway Shaker

Subway Shaker

The Subway Shaker is an innovative project that radically changes the use the sense of light and lightening.

The project uses the light to create special effects and not to illuminate the space. Nowadays, people want to see the spectacle, something new and original.

The Shaker is composed of two peaces, the liquid container and the light support. Once the container is provided with the ingredients, it shall be closed by screwing the two peaces into a sphere.

The barman, ones the inside light is on, launches the Shaker, via the rail lines installed on the counter, to the client, or to the waiter, depending on the desired spectacle. Rolling along the counter the sphere creates an effect of the “light in movement”.

The colour of the light will depend on the colour of the cocktail.

In this way, the light is no longer an instrument that illuminates, but a tool that creates a spectacle.
